I'm in my senior year at UConn, and I turned 21 in September. I work at Shaw's Supermarket. And for the record, Granny Smith apples are 4017 :] I love driving and hanging out with friends. Miley Cyrus is a bitch. I enjoy '80s music, such as Prince. I like spending time with my family. Traveling is also a hobby of mine. I enjoy shopping at Hollister and eating out at Ruby Tuesday's. JACK MCCOY IS MY HERO. I have 2 cats and 1 dog. And just for the record, T-Mobile sucks.

Day 2 — your crush
I don’t have a crush on anyone, because for the past two and a half years, my heart has been in love. I’ve fallen head over heels for you, Matt. You are the perfect boyfriend. Throughout all my health problems, you’ve been there 100 percent. You treat me like a princess even though I don’t deserve it. You’re my soulmate, and I can’t wait to have our studio apartment, come home after work and just cook dinner and relax with you. I can’t wait to be your wife and spend forever with you. You make me laugh till I’m crying and cuddle with me when I’m tired. You truely are the Noah to my Allie <3 We tell each other everything and your also my best friend.

Baby love, this is so sweet!! :-) I love you sooooo much, and it means so much that you wrote this for everyone to read!!  Work was so exhausting today, but coming home and reading this seriously just made my night.  I am so lucky to you have you, baby; you are a perfect girlfriend!  You are always so confident in me and are always there when I’m stressed out.  All I want is for you to be happy because God knows you have made me the happiest I’ve ever been in my life!!  I love you like crazy, baby, and I cannot wait to see you tomorrow!! <3 <3

: A little personal post...

Some of you may know from my previous posts about this, but I lose my health insurance in July under my dad’s plan because I will be done with college. So after that, I willl have to pay for my own insurance, which will be $300-$400 a month. But my dad found out yesterday that as of January 1st,…

Yep, with the new Healthcare Reform bill, people can remain under their parents’ health insurance until they are 26.  It really is helpful because finding a job in this economy is so difficult.

I am positive that you will find a full-time position with healthcare benefits before July, baby!! :-) I know that you have the confidence and skills to land a great job!!

This American Idol season has finally “Come Together”

I must admit: up until last week, I was convinced that this was the worst season of American Idol ever.  Three weeks ago, classic songs by The Rolling Stones were butchered, and the following week, Miley Cyrus served no purpose other than to remind us how much she sucks.  (Seriously, she gave virtually no advice to any of the contestants!)

Last week showed some hope when Usher guest mentored, however.  Lee really emerged as a potential frontrunner, and Tim Urban transformed into this season’s Sanjaya.  This week, featuring Lennon and McCartney songs, I was nervous that these classic tunes would be ruined; fortunately, I was mistaken, for this week was phenomenol.  Following the first dreadful performance of “The Long and Winding Road” by David Archuleta’s little brother (sans the talent), I was almost certain that this week of Idol was toast.  After that, however, every performance was solid (with the possible exception of Andrew Garcia’s big band cover of “Can’t Buy Me Love”).  Michael really stood out with “Eleanor Rigby,” in my opinion: he stayed within the context of the song, keeping it melodramatic and shrouded in despair, but he also created a slamming R&B number out of it.  Even Tim Urban surprised us all with a superb rendition of “All My Loving” that was truthful to his exuberant personality.  The performance of the night, however, probably went to Crystal with a delightful yet original version of “Come Together.”  Fantastic episode of Idol overall.

RIP Susan LaDue

nikkihebert:

I’m going to miss your smiling face, your words of encouragement, and your amazing personality. Susan was my CSR at my old job I worked at from 2007-2009, and the sweetest lady I ever met. This isn’t fair; having to go to another wake when I just went to one two weeks ago. Just not right.

I remember how we talked to her every time we went to visit Shaw’s.  She always knew so much about everything, and she always brightened up work with her positive attitude and great sense of humor.  You’re right, baby love: it’s just not fair.  It’s going to be so sad tomorrow evening.  I’m just glad that we’ll both be able to pay our last respects tomorrow and show our love for Susan.
